Founded in April 2008 in Porto Alegre, is comprised of artists, arts teachers and various professionals involved in the cultural area (*). In a cooperative management, non-profit, the association aims to promote and maintain permanent place of worship directed to the performing arts.

The Contemporary Scene/ Exchange, held in November of that year opened his actions. First brought to Brazil Cia Provisional Danza, Madrid, Spain, with the privilege of presenting the show Morir at Theatro São Pedro, and his Workshop with Artistic Director and Choreographer Carmen Werner.

In 2009, the International Dance Festival MESA VERDE embeds itself in your projects – opening space for the contemporary dance in southern Brazil and will be held biennially.
