Presents DO LADO DE LÁ TEM UM RIO

When I see the river, I immediately feed the fantasy of bathing there.
It is beside, the river, but it is not available to receive bodies [with dignity].
Insurmountable, this short space – it seems there is an abyss between my body and the river, but I am only a few steps away from its margin. And I feel like it were “on the other side”.
Far.
So, I am here, on the sculpture of Waltercio Caldas, where, one day, there was river…
I don’t know if I like cement, but i live with it in its emerging infliction, beside the river and serving as a basis for the superposed stones and also for the structures in steel.
Now, equally, I stop my body.
The Stone weighs [on earth], the steel cuts [the air]; the body proposes a lull for the elements.
I dance in this little cutting and, instead of the water, I scratch my feet on the cement [concrete].
