Scenic intervention that proposes the occupation of a historical building, with dancing calling for a dialogue with other artistic languages such as music, visual arts, literature, video… Acessos takes advantage of the arts to rediscover and revitalize the origin and importance of the buildings that are part of history and everyday life in the cities – with a crew of qualified professionals who dive into an intense process of research and hybrid creation.
This performance was born from a workshop coordinated by Paulo Guimarães in the Movimentos Incessantes project, implemented in 2004 by the City Culture Secretary/Porto Alegre City Hall. The event was part of the international circuit Ciudades que Danzan, with headquarters in Barcelona/Spain, which proposes the dialogue of dancing with architecture. Acessos has been presented in many spaces such as the Biological Sciences Institute of the Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul and the Solar dos Câmara, in Porto Alegre, besides the Warehouse of Arts of the Federal University of Goiás, in Goiânia.
