The Body as a Center of investigation
In every moment, contemporary dance reveals a new significant artistic language within an always up-to-date context. Diversity is probably its main feature. Following that, there is the unusual, the unpredictable, the complicity always integrated with the other arts.
Everything that we access can potentially be appropriated and introduced in the choreographic process without any need for scruples, putting down the cultural and stylistic barriers.
The need to create a personal style of body work, tuned with his choreographic propositions, has led
Borelli to organize an itinerary whose structure is formed every day: a physical and artistic symphony placing the body as a center of investigation.
In an attempt to demystify the procedural aspects of choreographic composition, we present this workshop intending to offer the participants the opportunity of establishing a more intimate contact with the research and creation process of the choreographer SANDRO BORELLI and CIA. BORELLI DE DANÇA.
