Sayonara Pereira is a Dancer, Choreographer, Researcher, Dance Pedagogue (Hohschule Für Musik/Köln-Alemanha-2003), Ph.D. in Arts-Dance at Campinas University (UNICAMP-2007), currently pursuing a post-doctoral degree (UNICAMP/FAPESP-2007-2009). She is a dance specialist, and between 1985 and 2004 she worked in Germany, where, invited by Susanne Linke, she studied in the Essen Folkwang Hohschule, directed by Pina Bausch. Besides, she has worked with artists from different fields. She is currently a professor-collaborator at the Arts Institute of UNICAMP-SP.
