Presents ILUSION
Theatro São Pedro – November 17 – 9 p.m.
Inside a small romantic theater, a man and a woman represent fascination and disillusion, magic and a failing trick. The illusion of Love through the poetry of the body, of image and of humor. What appears and disappears. In the piece, the languages of dance, theater, video and music live together.
Ilusión made its debut in March, 2008 at the theater El Camarín de las Musas (Buenos Aires). It was presented in the Rafaela Theater Festival in Santa Fé (Ar), in the Buenos Aires Festival ’08 and at the Sodre Theater, Montevideo (Uy). This piece was subsidized through the Prodanza 2006, an institute designed to protect and incentivate independent dance in the city of Buenos Aires. Ilusión also received the first prize of the Macstation Paradigma Digital in 2007, a contest that promotes avant-garde artistic creativity, new productions and the technological investigation and experimentation; and it was considered the best choreographic direction at the Teatro Del Mundo Prize 2008 by the Centro Cultural Ricardo Rojas at the Buenos Aires University.
